Media outlets had not reported that Prince Harry had been deployed to Afghanistan in December because, of course, he would likely be murdered if it were known that he was serving in the war. Any dumbass with half a brain cell would see that it was obviously important to keep this information from getting out.

Enter Matt Drudge. The Drudge Report broke the news that Prince Harry was deployed, therefore putting his life in grave danger. Therefore Harry is on his way home now so that he can hopefully avoid being murdered.

So Drudge, as if you haven’t shown your true colors before, you sure have now. Since when is putting someone’s life in danger worth a bit of Internet traffic? You are a completely ignorant asshole without a soul and I hope your advertisers drop you like a hot potato. You’ll be getting having me as one of your website visitors today, but only to see who’s peddling their trash there and lining your pocket so that I can know where NOT to spend my money.

I didn’t want to write this to you on Valentine’s Day, so I waited.  It so sad to see such a beautiful love story end so tragically.  You had my heart, you were my favorite… and then you dumped me without even the kindness of an explanation.

You seem to want to keep me on the hook though, as you didn’t completely delete me from your life; you just don’t seem to want me around.

Three e-mails now, and I’m still waiting for the courtesy of a reply.  I know you have lots to do; you are, after all, a ‘net superstar.  But did you forget about the little people who loved you?

I am trying not to take it personally.  I know you’ve turned your back on many of us, I just don’t know why.

Now I see that there is an auto-bury script for the brigade to use.  You’ve been notified about it, but will you act on it?  There have been so many abuses; it’s hard not to shed a tear.  I’m trying to be strong though. 

You promised some communication.  I’m waiting and hoping that wasn’t an empty promise to get people off your case.

Can our relationship be saved?  It’s really up to you.  Can you let us all know, one way or the other so that there can either be closure for this broken heart or even, as a best case scenario, we could get back together? 

I know I’m probably dreaming, but just so you know, I took you at your word.  I, along with many others, extended trust.  We hope that trust was not misplaced, but we need to know.  We need to hear from you and see some action on your part if this is to work out amicably. 

I miss you, Digg.  I hope you’ll do the right thing.  Not just because I think it is right, but also because what is going on right now truly is wrong.

So, interestingly enough, the CEO of Digg says there was no revolt and that a handfull of users does not a revolt make. Okay, so maybe the 150 users who became a part of the discussion don’t amount to a hill of beans in the big picture. However, there are many more of us disgruntled Digg users who did not have the opportunity to chime in at the “meeting.”

I really don’t care that they’ve changed how many Diggs it takes to get to the front page. That doesn’t bother me because I generally have had enough Diggs on my stuff to make it to the front page anyway - unless I got buried.

To me, the buries are the problem. Well, not exactly the buries, but the fact that they are not transparent. You can’t see who is shooting you down or for what reason. I don’t think there’s another social network that I participate in that operates that way. If people want to bury, fine, but be accountable for the buries. That might stop the obvious abuse that is happening.

There are approximately 6 or 7 branded domains, among many others, that I had been submitting stories from to Digg. Those branded domains are now blocked by Digg, although the previously submitted stories were not removed.

Before my submissions from these domains started to be buried on sight by abusive users, the stories from these domains were very popular and generated intelligent discussion. Then, suddenly, I guess I got noticed. By who, I have no idea because the bury process is cloaked. After becoming noticed, none of my stories from this group of branded domains went popular because once they reached the brink of popularity, they were buried.

Also, please note that the stories submitted from these domains were high quality, professionally written, timely news items with the bulk of advertising removed from the pages. I have written to Digg twice about the fact that I was apparently on auto-bury (which they say doesn’t exist) or that I was being abused by a group of haters. No reply.

I also wrote to Digg after not being able to submit any stories from these domains anymore. No reply.

I was a very active Digg user up until a few days ago. Not just with my 1-2x per week submissions, but by actively checking out, supporting the work of others and commenting as well. I think, judging by the popularity of my submissions, that my stories were well received and of interest to the Digg community. However, they apparently don’t want my contributions to the community anymore.

I could understand having domains blacklisted if I had spammed the system. But I didn’t. I was very cautious, did not do rapid fire submissions and limited my occasional submissions to only the highest quality stories that I truly thought would be well received in the community. And had it not been for the bury brigade, they would have been.

So, ok Digg. You say you will begin to communicate with us. I’m waiting.

If you don’t want me anymore, that’s ok, I’d just appreciate a valid reason for being rejected. If auto-bury doesn’t exist, fine. The bury brigade does exist, and they are abusive. Do something about it if you’d like to carry on with a community of shiny, happy Diggers.

I’ll just hold my breath and wait for you to answer at least one of my emails.

I know it’s free and all, but it’s what I use for email.  So WTF Google?  What the hell is going on with Gmail?  What’s the problem?

Well, I’ve never envied that look.  I think it looks a bit odd, especially when the top lip gets really fat right in the middle.  I used to watch Passions, and when the character named Beth (Kelli McCarty) had closeups it was really annoying.   She overdid it on the lip injections and gloss.  She looked like someone had punched her in the face and then she ate a porkchop with no hands to console herself.

Anyway, back to why I’m talking about huge lips.  I’ve always had a slightly thin top lip and I’ve tried different lip plumper products before and none of them made any difference.  Then I saw an infomercial the other night for a product that looked promising.  So, I went on Ebay and bought the product.  Of course I’m not going to buy it from the company promoting it and get on some autoship bullshit and let them try to upsell me when I call.  I just wanted to try this lip plumper and see if it made any difference at all, not sign up to make monthly payments.

Well, let me tell you… I feel like my lips are huge now.  Not Kelli McCarty huge, but big.  It feels odd.  My sister also tried it and she said that while she was sleeping, she rolled over on her stomach and her lips were so big she had to make adjustments because they were pressing into the pillow and felt weird.

So, now we have these huge, glossy lips that tingle a little bit.  I had no idea you could get lips this big without getting injections - and I sure wasn’t getting injections.

I wonder how long it takes the big lips to wear off?

So, all I’m saying is, that if she is acting like this while clean and sober, Britney needs to be locked away in a mental institution for the long term before she hurts herself, the babies, or someone else.

Oh, and the best coverage I’ve seen of the whole Britney circus is at Taylor’s Entertainment News. Taylor has done an excellent roundup of the whole ding dang thing.

Well, I say good riddance. Borat was the most annoying and un-entertaining thing I have ever seen. I can’t believe the press and media exposure this B-actor got for something as simple minded as Borat.

Will the lawsuits go away now? Doubtful. Although most of the lawsuits against the Borat movie were so full of holes that they were getting laughed out of court, I saw at least one that did have merit. The guy that Borat kept trying to hug may actually have a case, but that remains to be seen.

Anyway, I’m more than happy to see Borat go. I just think it’s a couple of years too late.

What’s shes’ doing now may or may not be considered a good deed. It all depends on your political stance.

In case you live under a turtle shell and haven’t heard, she’s on the campaign trail with presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

I’m not bashing Obama, as I can’t find a reason yet, but please. He’s a fine man, but if his skin were white would she be out there pulling for him?

My mom said.. “Well, there have been other black men who have run for president.”

Ok, yeah, that’s true. But Obama, as far as I’m concerned is the first legitimate African American presidential candidate. Don’t tell me that the Rev. Jesse Jackson ever had a prayer or winning - no pun intended. Nor did that other guy who ran.. you know, the one who always shows up when there is a racial issue with press coverage.

I don’t mind if Obama wins. Actually, if he keeps Hilary Clinton out of the White House then he’s got my vote. But seriously, why is Oprah pushing him so hard?

I was over at TrashyCeleb.com and their top story right now is that In Touch Weekly is reporting that Britney Spears is pregnant again with ex-boyfriend J.R. Rotem’s kid.  They say Rotem confirmed it.

Now, I love TrashyCeleb, don’t get me wrong on that at all, but I think In Touch is pulling our legs. For one thing, didn’t she just have liposuction while she was in Vegas? She also had that lip thing done, which I’m not sure if you could do that while pregnant either. Also, she failed a drug test and said it was because of the Adderall she takes for ADD.

Umm.. even Britney should know that you can’t take Adderall if you are pregnant. And I’m sure she does. And I’m sure she’s not… pregnant.
