Oprah Says BO Does Not Stink

This is kind of sad because I always have liked Oprah, despite the fact that she seems to not be able to do a good deed without the cameras being on.
What’s shes’ doing now may or may not be considered a good deed. It all depends on your political stance.
In case you live under a turtle shell and haven’t heard, she’s on the campaign trail with presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
I’m not bashing Obama, as I can’t find a reason yet, but please. He’s a fine man, but if his skin were white would she be out there pulling for him?
My mom said.. “Well, there have been other black men who have run for president.”
Ok, yeah, that’s true. But Obama, as far as I’m concerned is the first legitimate African American presidential candidate. Don’t tell me that the Rev. Jesse Jackson ever had a prayer or winning - no pun intended. Nor did that other guy who ran.. you know, the one who always shows up when there is a racial issue with press coverage.
I don’t mind if Obama wins. Actually, if he keeps Hilary Clinton out of the White House then he’s got my vote. But seriously, why is Oprah pushing him so hard?

I’ve never been a major fan of Oprah Winfrey. I mean don’t get me wrong, a woman that can make over a billion dollars amongst these sharks, definitely gets some credit! I honestly think that Oprah likes Obama and what he stands for, but more so because it validates how powerful she really is! I totally agree with you about Jesse and Rev Al, those two only find it convenient to stand in the frontline for their own personal gain. Great post, keep up the great work ma.
